Having watched the hype spread across the Internet, I figured I’d have to experience the top grossing box office movie myself.
After all, I wouldn’t want anyone to be execute.
Not having watched many of Sacha Baron Cohen‘s past creations such as Ali G, I didn’t have high expectations for Borat!: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.
After watching the movie, I must admit, Sacha Baron Cohen is a comedic genius. His satirical “mokumentary” draws from all aspects of what makes our country unique… from feminism to gay parade participants to politicians to inner-city youths; his portrayal of a naive foreigner is pure comedy.
Definitely, two thumbs up and a damn sexy-time.
