Right now I think the only application I’d miss from Windows would be Visual Studio, but since you’re on the OSS stack I doubt that’d matter much to you. Nonetheless, it still might actually work for me with Parallels Coherence or VMWare Fusion.
I’m considering the Thinkpad T61 widescreen or MBP to replace my aging T42. Hope to see a followup post soon with your candid thoughts on “the switch.”
