@Al

I wrote this post back in the Winter of 2006. Unfortunately, after that experience, I've never had the need to use their service since I've been a PayPal user for quite a while. I'm a relatively experienced computer user, and I must admit that the PayPal service has been top notch every single time I've used it. :)

I purchased something for the first time recently using Google Checkout and it was a smooth process. It was easy to see what was going on with it and was completed in a timely fashion. I think I'd be more than confortable to use it again in the future.

Is this your first experience with Google Checkout or are you a veteran? If you've used it plenty, how many times has something not worked smoothly for you?

[...] I’ve finally decided to switch my mail server over to Google Apps. Since I have all of ‘1‘ user on my domain - I figure it should be now or never. Seeing how my last Google experience was FUBAR’ed, I figured this would be another annoyingly painful process. [...]
