He better watch out for my errant drives.
In the scheme of life, today might just seem like any other day; any other Friday, to be exact. Yet, what you don’t realize is that today holds great significance.
Why you ask?
Well, today was my first official golf outing since my infamous lost to the great Gordon. A day that will live in infamy, my previous and subsequently last golf outing ended in a loss via strokes to Gordo. My first ever loss, I didn’t even finish the round because I was so frustrated at the game.
In any case, Tom the shoemaster, Lance the golfmaster, and myself, decided to hit up Olomana for a round. First off, I’ll be honest,
it I wasn’t pretty at all. Aside from the one or two birdie opportunities I had, I really felt like I was watching my 6-year-old niece play Tiger Woods Golf on the Playstation.
It was that bad.
Let me tell you, don’t ever play with a 10 and 15 handicapper your first-time playing in 2 years. You know that feeling – the feeling where you just got reamed with the high-hard one? Well, personally, I don’t. But after playing a round with these guys, I can imagine. Oh, I can just imagine.
Though it did cost me a few rounds of beer, all-in-all, it was a very fun time. Truthfully, more fun than I’ve had in a while. Stay tuned for future blogs as I plan to youtube our bi-monthly golf adventures.
