Life…
We’re often led down roads we can’t ever find our way back from. Social conventions place us in situations where we’re trapped within the confines of our own expectations. Sometimes, that may be our job situation… our personal lives… Many of us live a life so dictated by the rules of the haves that we often overlook the simplicity of life itself. Caught up in a world governed by the status quo; money, power, and reputation drive us to our ultimate goals.
Whenever I see kids, I often reminisce about that time in my life. Only then do I remember being carefree, naive to the world surrounding me. Ignorant to the world that I would succumb to… the society that would govern my every decision. If I had just one wish. I would wish for those moments as a child to last a lifetime. To live an insouciant life unbridled by the reins of a social order. Only then could I play the game of life.
And love every minute of it.
